Last week we brought to you the first installment of the Rules of Engagement. if you missed it check it out here. This week we talk about the validity or not of the 3 day rule. Remember the 3 day rule? Basically entails a guy waiting for 3 days before he calls a girl so he doesn’t seem ‘eager’. Do you think the rule still applies? Check out the video and leave your comments after the jump.

Miss Jaden Baby!

I have found that the guys that keep to the three-day rule generally do it as part of their game; on the one hand to appear aloof and uninvested, and on the other to keep the babe anticipating. The truth is that it does work, because most women need to have the upperhand during the ‘toasting’ period, and by making them wait the guys take control.
BUT in general guys who play on that level turn out to be grade A assholes. I say call her when you want to talk to her. And not in the middle of the night – unless you want a booty call. Or a missed call.
David asked why phone numbers are a big deal? Well i’ve had to change my phone number because of a guy who didnt stop calling for months on end. Short of turning off your phone, it is possible to be psychologically harrassed by anunwanted suitor.
On the other hand though, Women who dont give out their numbers when they are interested are insecure. Go easy on them or leave them alone; it’s not on you to try to help or understand them. Plenty of fish dot com.
As a related aside, The biggest problem in courtship (or toasting) is when the men front.
See, as much as guys may hate it (or not), it is expected for women to front! A woman who doesnt front is the exception and not the rule, and that is fact. Perhaps you could address this on your panel sometime
